{"id":956,"date":"2016-10-25T16:38:54","date_gmt":"2016-10-25T15:38:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sicsoe.fr\/?p=956\/"},"modified":"2017-03-22T16:39:15","modified_gmt":"2017-03-22T15:39:15","slug":"after-oiws-how-to-handle-diws-in-the-iso-14001-framework","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sicsoe.fr\/en\/after-oiws-how-to-handle-diws-in-the-iso-14001-framework\/","title":{"rendered":"After OIWs, how to handle DIWs in the ISO 14001 framework?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The treatment of industrial waste suggests, within the environmental management approach framework, an optimized valorisation logic.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2007, <strong>there has already been a sorting<\/strong> between ordinary industrial waste (OIW) and recyclable \/ recoverable waste: cartons and plastics.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2014, in order to optimize transport, and thus reduce the number of truck turnover, we invested in the <strong>installation of a compactor solution to deal with that waste.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of this approach initiated at SICSOE more than 10 years ago, hazardous industrial waste has required <strong>an adapted organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Since June 2016, each type of waste has stocking equipment to <strong>optimize collection and recycling<\/strong>. Aerosols, impregnated solids, solvents, electrical and electronic equipment, fluorescent tubes, batteries and accumulators and waste oils are stored separately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The treatment of industrial waste suggests, within the environmental management approach framework, an optimized valorisation logic.
