After OIWs, how to handle DIWs in the ISO 14001 framework?

The treatment of industrial waste suggests, within the environmental management approach framework, an optimized valorisation logic.

Since 2007, there has already been a sorting between ordinary industrial waste (OIW) and recyclable / recoverable waste: cartons and plastics.

Since 2014, in order to optimize transport, and thus reduce the number of truck turnover, we invested in the installation of a compactor solution to deal with that waste.

As part of this approach initiated at SICSOE more than 10 years ago, hazardous industrial waste has required an adapted organization.

Since June 2016, each type of waste has stocking equipment to optimize collection and recycling. Aerosols, impregnated solids, solvents, electrical and electronic equipment, fluorescent tubes, batteries and accumulators and waste oils are stored separately.
