In partnership with the Departmental Directorate of Protection of Populations (DDPP) and the Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea (DDTM), and the Water Agency, SICSOE resized its wastewater treatment plant in 2012 and modernized it with a new treatment system equipment for its waste (membrane treatment) and professionalized to turn little by little towards a policy of engagement and progress.

Indeed, in addition to compliance with legislation and regulations, SICSOE must control risks and protect the environment, now and for the future.

Through the draft ISO 14001 certification, SICSOE aims to continuously improve its environmental performance by controlling the sorting of waste, its emissions to and its extractions from the natural environment and all of its consumption.
