Three questions for Dominique Lafuge, Château Chasse Spleen, Moulis-en-Médoc

Why did you choose to work with Sicsoe Wine Logistics Solution?

We have been working with Sicsoe since 2013 for the labelling,  packaging, storage and shipping. Bottling is done at the property. We decided to change providers for the Chateau Chasse Spleen. The first meeting I had with David Vidal and his team was very professional, met all our requirements. The demonstration made on site with the equipment, all the resources implemented by Sicsoe responded quickly to our needs.

What are your requirements for wine logistics?

We wanted to entrust our greatest wines to a quality provider. We talk a little more than half of our production, this represents between 350,000 and 400,000 bottles. The important point for us was to be able to process our requests for a specific time, because our customers are increasingly demanding. They want to have a perfect label quality sometimes with special markings and especially precise dates for shipping their wines. We are equally demanding on the quality of storage. With Sicsoe, we had all the guarantees.

What is your assessment three years later?

Today, working with Sicsoe has undoubtedly brought us method and rigor. They meet our requirements, we meet theirs, so this is a true partnership, a real exchange. We will go ahead with our 4th vintage with Sicsoe. We know each other and it saves time. From the beginning, we do an annual assessment. In 2016, we took the opportunity to look at new investments that reinforce our partnership. The extremely sophisticated device, the concepts of traceability and quality mean something to us as winemaker. It conforts us in this common work: we have the same demands, the same needs and the same goals.
